This Glasgow artist's 2019 hit Midsummer has garnered over 3 million streams while steadily making a name for himself, and on 18th November 2022 Russell released his long awaited debut EP - Into View.

Produced by Stuart Ramage & Roan Ballantine of Vanives, the EP explores the sonic and emotional range of this “alt-soul savant” (Wonderland). All four tracks made it on to Spotify’s New Music Friday UK, with second single Inward being named Track of the Week by BBC Introducing Scotland. Russell was named on several Ones to Watch lists for 2023 and opened the year with his first London show and being shortlisted for BBC Introducing Scottish Act of the Year.
